Thank you for attending the BEDCL 2021 Annual General Meeting on May 17, 2021
Here is a summary of the meeting

1. All teams requested to respond for the 2021 season to do so by end of day May 19, 2021
2. All teams confirmed for participation will be sent an invoice by May 23, 2021 which will need to be paid within 4 days of receipt.
3. Per news and Ontario Government information, the stay at home order should be lifted June 2, 2021
4. We are not sure yet what it means for recreational sports but are in touch with the City authorities as well as Cricket Ontario and the Sports minister
5. Each team will need to pay 75% of the fees upfront for the 2021 season
6. BEDCL will be charging you for umpire fees and paying the umpires directly on your behalf
7. It is the Captain responsibility to ensure each player is COVID free and precautions taken as per the BEDCL Return to play guidelines (found under the website NEWS dropdown)
8. Expect a lot of communication from BEDCL which will require prompt action
9. Team clothing will be provided the same leeway as in 2020 but every effort for similar clothing should be made
(Glaringly different colours for team uniforms will not be permitted & umpires may refuse such players from taking the field)
10. No promotion/demotion will be held this season (2021) either
11. T25 games: teams should expect 2-3 games under floodlights during the weekdays as well as weekends to accommodate games
12. No accommodation for days off will be provided
13. All playing rules from 2020 (COVID rules) will be adhered to this season also
14. BEDCL will use whatever money is held against your team towards the 2021 season
15. Ontario Government have provided BEDCL with some COVID relief money which will be reflected on your invoice
16. Practice days/Times may be available like last year, but please stay tuned
